Irene Keselman Photography is Looking for a Full-Time Studio Assistant!

We are seeking an excellent, creative and detail oriented assistant to join our growing team! Irene Keselman Photography is a luxury portrait studio located in Holmdel, NJ and specializing in Glamour, Headshots, Branding, Maternity, Children's and Family photography. It's imperative that the person have a positive, go-getter attitude, is kind, professional and fits into our work culture. We are known for exceptional customer experiences and are looking for someone that will go above and beyond for our clients, providing attention to our clients at every turn. Our ideal candidate will be a great team member ready to help us grow, increase our productivity and quality performance to achieve our long-term company vision. Professional personal presentation and good customer service skills are required. Previous office experience, as well as an understanding of photography is strongly preferred but not necessary. 

This is not a job for photographers, or for people looking to become a photographer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and keeping the studio and equipment clean 

  • Keeping the studio stocked with supplies (drinks, snacks, props, and accessories)

  • Helping with set design, concept execution & photoshoot preparation

  • Client onboarding and scheduling via our CRM

  • Client workflow and correspondence - email, phone and in person on photoshoot days

  • Ensuring everything is running smoothly

  • Sales & Light Bookkeeping

  • Studio errands

  • Managing our social media content

  • Assist with Marketing

  • Communicating with our Retoucher & some editing via Photoshop, Lightroom and/or Photo Mechanic

  • Ordering Products & Wall Art

  • Packaging and delivering client orders


  • $15-$20/hour based on experience, room to grow - 1099

  • Position will start as part time and work to full time within 3-6 months

Job Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent (preferred)

  • Driver's License & Own Vehicle

  • Extremely organized with strong time management skills

  • 1-2 years similar work experience 

  • Must have a positive mindset
